As PUDAK SCIENTIFIC's role in assisting the development of education in Indonesia, particularly in disaster areas, we have cooperated with local governments, provincial governments, the National Army,( TNI Territorial III Siliwangi) and Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation in school rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts after the earthquake in Pangalengan. PUDAK SCIENTIFIC donates educational equipments to improve the quality of learning and teaching for elementary and junior high schools.

Inauguration of rehabilatated and reconstructed school conducted by the West Java Governor, Ahmad Heryawan, Tuesday (3/8), together with Bandung regency government, the Regional District and Provincial, Territorial III Siliwangi, National Police, and the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation. The schools formerly known as SDN Pangalengan I and SDN Pangalengan III become SDN Unggulan Cinta Kasih I dan SDN Unggulan Cinta Kasih III (elementary school), and also occupied by SMP Pasundan Pangalengan (Junior high school). The schools are located in Kp. Pasirmulus, Desa Margamulya, Kec. Pangalengan, Bandung regency. On that occasion PUDAK SCIENTIFIC donated a set of laboratory furniture including student demonstration tables, student chairs, and laboratory cabinets, Physics KIT and SSN series Junior High School Biology Equipment and SEQIP series Elementary School Sains KIT.

On Saturday (7/8), the Indonesia President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono conducted a working visit to SDN Unggulan Cinta Kasih I dan SDN Unggulan Cinta Kasih III and directly observed the outcome of reconstruction and rehabilitation of school after the earthquake. The President's visit was also attended by some of the government officials, the TNI and the Police, and the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation. The President hopes that the educational equipments for improvement of learning process will in turn improve this country.
